Micheal Timilehin Omoniyi is an award winning social entrepreneur, leader, builder, academic, commentator, artist, activist and polymath.

Biography 

Micheal Timilehin Omoniyi is an award-winning social entrepreneur, leader, speaker, academic, commentator, artist, activist and polymath.

He has spoken on the United Nations world stage multiple times and has conducted high profile conversations with figures like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reaching millions of people.

In 2019, M.T.  was recognised by the Financial Times as one of the 100 most influential leaders in Tech in the UK as the Founder and CEO of The Common Sense Network, an alternative news network dedicated to finding common ground between polar opposites. He is also the Founder and Director of Our God Given Mission, a Christian charity on a mission to help people discover Jesus. He is also the founder of The Apex Group, a closed group for CEO’s and Founders where they share best practices and The BAM Project, a program aimed at helping young boys reimagine masculinity.

As well as founding various organisations, Micheal serves an advisor and consultant for a range of organisations, locally, nationally and internationally.

Mike is the youngest ever Non-Executive Director and Independent Council Member at The University Of Salford. He also serves on the board of Chatham House, The Royal Institute of International Affairs and is a trustee at GMAX Athletes.

As an ex-English Table Tennis player, ex-member of the Handball English National Team, a sprinter and a sports coach who went to the University of Manchester on a sports scholarship, Micheal credits sports for shaping him and how he approaches life and projects.
His various roles within the #YouthVoice field, Deputy Chair/Chair of various Councils, Member of Youth Parliament, Young Ambassador to the European Union, Trustee and consultant to various Organisations show his commitment and passion for change, not just for the sake of change but for a more fair, equal and free society, He works tirelessly to innovate and I know him to be a man of great integrity.
After graduating with a 2:1 Bachelors of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Manchester, he went on to obtain another Masters Degree in Political Science (Philosophy and Economics) – Democracy and elections and is currently working on a PhD, studying Balkanisation.
